Automatic Weld & Assembly Operator
1st Shift:
Starting Pay: $18.00 / hr
6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Monday thru Thursday
*38 hours worked + 2 hours holiday = 40 hours
2nd Shift:
Starting Pay: $20.00 / hr
4:30 PM to 2:30 AM
Monday thru Thursday
*38 hours worked + 2 hours holiday = 40 hours
Position Summary:
Tack and weld component parts together for trailer suspensions with electric arc welding equipment. Able to check jig for loose bolts, air leaks, etc. Check job card parts list with parts being supplied by forklift. Tack and weld component part together as instructed. Work with Quality Assurance to make sure that the part running is within tolerance and take action accordingly. Operate all automatics within the department (hub welders, robots, washer welders, bearing block welder, etc.) Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Functions:
Handle parts, place in jig, operate jigs by pulling levers/ kicking peddles manipulate welding gun to tack/welding components together, hang parts on a chain line. Safety sensitive functions include the use of High Voltage Equipment such as welders. Must be able to lift or move over 100lbs.
