9800 Series
FOR VAN APPLICATIONS
The Hutch 9800 Series of sliders is one of our continuously evolving lines of trailer slider systems. After all these years, it is still the most versatile and reliable line of trailer sliders on the road. The Hutch 9800 family of sliders offers you extended service life and reduced downtime while allowing dependable, durable and driver-friendly operation.
ABOUT
Whether your requirements are for a standard 49 in. tandem axle or a widespread axle application, the 9800 Series can be configured to fit your needs. Overall subframe heights from 8 1/2 in. to 10 1/2 in. deep (as measured from the top of the body rail to the bottom of the subframe), combined with our versatile Hutch 9700 Series suspension, result in a wide variety of mounting heights and configurations. The 9800 Series offers the Hutch EZ-PULL 2 pin release system as standard. However, an air-actuated Pneumatic Pin Puller system is available as an option on the 9805/9815 models.
With all of these features, various widths, and body rail lengths, the Hutch 9800 Series family of sliders can meet any van trailer requirement.
FEATURES
– The Hutch EZ-PULL 2 pin release system allows one person to reposition the slider with ease. Not only does it eliminate most of the problems associated with “bound up” lock pins, but it also reduces the effort needed to pull the pin release handle.
– 7 gauge side rails of high strength, low-alloy steel.
– 4 symmetrical crossmembers for uniform stress distribution.
– Full-length slider pads made from UHMW material.
– “Slot welding” keeps the edges of side rails and crossmembers weld-free.
– Heavy gauge, low-profile body rails with holes punched in 4 in. increments allow precise variations in vehicle weight distribution while providing the wheelbase best suited to your needs.
– Hutch’s locator bar is the best compromise in weight and strength. Solid steel plugs welded at each end of a steel tube bar make repositioning fast and easy.
OPTIONS
Slider frames may be ordered in various widths to provide different spring centers. The 9801 has an overall height of 8 1/2 in. from the top of the body rail to the bottom of the sliding subframe. If a 10 1/2 in. deep slider better fits your needs, then this requirement is met with the 9811. Body rails for either the 9801 or 9811 allow repositioning in 4 in. increments over a wide variety of lengths.
